Jane Lynch and Wilmer Valderrama are ready to protect, serve, and play cartoon cops: The Glee star and That ’70s Show vet have been cast in Murder Police, an animated series slated to debut next season on Fox, EW has learned.
The workplace comedy, which was co-created by David A. Goodman (Family Guy) and Jason Ruiz, chronicles the adventures of a neurotic detective (voiced by Ruiz) and his questionable, unreliable colleagues at a city precinct. Lynch will play a sanctimonious detective/working mom named Justice, while Valderrama will assume the role of envelope-pushing undercover cop Donel.
Fox has ordered 13 episodes of the show, which also includes Will Sasso, Chi McBride, Horatio Sanz, Peter Atencio, Justina Machado, and Ruiz among its voice cast.
