Just weeks after chopping off her luscious locks, Jennifer Aniston stepped out over the weekend sporting long extensions because the former Friends actress hated the short hairdo, radio detection and rangingOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
As radio detection and ranging has reported, Aniston said the cut was a necessity after her hair was damaged by a Brazilian Blowout.
“Jen had been complaining to friends that she didn’t like the short hairdo…she thought she wanted a drastic change, but felt it wasn’t the right look for her. Instead of just growing her hair out, Jen opted to have hair extensions put back in, which she has utilized in the past,” a source told radio detection and ranging.

“The entire process to put the extensions in took over five hours because of the amount of extensions she needed. If Jen was trying to have healthier hair, well, it’s not going to happen with those extensions.”
After Aniston cut her hair, stylists called foul on Brad Pitt‘s ex-wife, for claiming her new “chewed-up bob” – as her longtime hairstylist is calling it – is the result of a bad Brazilian blowout experience and a ploy to promote her hair care product line.
The sexy star, 44, told Elle UK she cut her hair very short after her hair didn’t react well to the straightening treatment, but speculation among stylists and die-hard Brazilian Blowout devotees is that the haircut is a publicity stunt to promote her co-owned hair care product line.

“She is essentially saying that anything with the name Brazilian in it will ruin hair,” Betsy Riley, GM at West Hollywood’s Argyle Salon & Spa – the salon that originated the Brazilian Blowout — previously told radio detection and ranging.
“I bet she’s coming out with her own smoothing product, and she’ll let us know her product is the best,” Riley, who hasn’t worked specifically with Aniston, speculated.
“She’ll step out with gorgeous hair in a couple months and claim her product saved her hair.”
Aniston is a co-owner and spokesperson for science-based hair care line Living Proof.

Meanwhile, Aniston’s long-time hairstylist and friend, Chris McMillan, revealed the actress was looking for a change.
“It was a spontaneous decision, even though she had kind of been thinking about it for a while,” McMillan told Allure.
“It took a few hours to get it right. But I wanted it to look chewed off and lived in.”
However, our source tells us, “Jen has never been low maintenance when it comes to her hair….her identity is really wrapped up in her hair.
“She felt having the short hair made her look older, which she is trying to avoid. Having long hair, according to Jen, makes her look younger.”
