A man arrested in the alleged kidnapping of actor Jeremy London has been identified as 26-year-old Brandon Adams.

Police in Palm Springs say London, who appeared on TV’sParty of Five and 7th Heaven and starred in a sequel to the supernatural classic Carrie, was kidnapped while changing a flat tire on June 10. The 37-year-old actor — who has a history of drug abuse — told cops that several men helped him and he offered them a ride home. One of the men later pulled a gun, and forced Jeremy to drive around during a five-hour nightmare in which the star was robbed and forced to purchase alcohol and smoke “dope.”

(As if crackheads are actually going to share their stash with a stranger!)

London said he escaped but his car was stolen. Uh-huh. London was arrested in the spring of 2004 for allegedly driving with a suspended license and for carrying controlled substances. He’s battle with prescription pills sent him to rehab last September. He is currently in the middle of a messy divorce from actress Melissa Cunningham.

Adams is charged with kidnapping, robbery, possession of stolen property, vehicle theft and carjacking. He is being held at the Larry D. Smith correctional facility in California on $500,000 bail.

A second suspect remains at large.
