In news that will surprise absolutely no one, delusional crackie Jeremy London has reportedly inked a $40,000 deal to drown his vodka-soaked sorrows on the troubled fourth season of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab.
You’ve heard right, folks. Addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky will be tossing the alleged kidnapping victim into the back of a dark van and locking him up for two months of detox and drug counseling at Pasadena Recovery Center! The cash-strapped actor –- a recovering addict –- says he’s been sober since last September and has been undergoing regular urine tests as part of an ongoing court battle to regain partial custody of his son Lyrik, 3, from the child’s maternal grandmother.
Jeremy is expected to check in for treatment on Sunday or Monday. His estranged wife Melissa will appear on screen periodically.
Celebrity Rehab — which had been set to begin production last month — was shelved by VH1 due to casting difficulties. Taping on the show is now expected to get underway later this summer.
