Hollywood actress Sarah Jessica Parker will be paying homage to Alexander McQueen in June with a posthumous award.
The talented designer was found dead after what seemed to be an evident suicide at his London apartment in February 2010.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America announced in March that McQueen will be honoured with the Board of Directors’ Special Tribute Award, reports The Daily Express.
Sex and the City actress Jessica Parker has been chosen to be a part of the event that will be held in New York to honour the Brit.
The event will be held on June 7, 2010.
Parker had teamed with McQueen several times during his career.
