A dapper and noticably slimmed-down John Goodman showed up at last night’s AFI Life Achievement Award tribute to director Mike Nichols looking like Kirstie Alley during the Jenny Craig-era. We aren’t sure if Goodman’s slimdown comes courtesy of gastric bypass or good old diet and exercise — but it suits him! The previously portly star appears to be down at least 100 lbs. after spending much of the past decade tipping the scales at more than 300 lbs.
Goodman, who turns 58 later this month, stars in the HBO series Treme.
