A sports car belonging to hip-hop star Kanye West was involved in a collision with a home in Hawaii over the weekend.
The Porsche Panamera – which the rapper’s cousin was reportedly given permission to drive before it was reported stolen – crashed into a house near Diamond Head in Honolulu, Hawaii at around 4 am on Saturday morning
According to local ABC affiliate KITV, witnesses told police they saw three men running away from the scene of the crash. An auto theft report was filed a short time after the incident occurred.
“I looked over here and saw the car impaled in the garage,” neighborhood Chris Cooper reveals. “Just a tremendous crash. As if a small building were coming down.”
Kanye has been in Honolulu since December recording his forthcoming album, Good Ass Job. He was not on the island at the time of the collision.
