Katy Perry British Citizen?

Katy Perry wants to embrace her future husband’s heritage by becoming a British citizen, if a new report is to be believed.

The quirky pop crooner will reportedly marry British comedian Russell Brand next month and plans to start life as a wedded woman by moving to the UK and becoming a Brit.

One of the first things Katy wants to do as Mrs. Brand is obtain dual citizenship that will allow her to spend extended periods of time in her adopted “second home” — England.

“When I get married next month, one of the first things I’ll do is apply for dual citizenship,” the “Boys” singer told London’s The Sun this week. “I’m not too sure if I have to take a test as I’ve not had time to look into it. But England is like my second home.”
