Katy Perry has agreed with the producers’ decision to remove her steaming kiss scene with fiance Russell Brand from the flick ‘Get Him To The Greek’.

The singer filmed a cameo appearance in the comedy before the couple officially began dating – but their steamy kiss was edited from the final project.

Perry said that she was initially upset with the decision to axe the part, but eventually believed that it was for the best.

“My scene called for me to make out with him… Then it got cut! I was like, ”I”m sleeping with you and you”re not going to put me in the movie? That”s so messed up!” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

“To be fair, if you saw me and Russell making out it would feel like, ”There”s Russell Brand in the movie” – not his character Aldous Snow. It”s completely understandable,” she added.
