Ke$ha Seventeen Magazine Nov. 2010: “I Have A Really Good Voice!”

Hmmm….Delusional much? You be the judge. While “I brushed my teeth with a bottle of Jack…” may not strike some of us as award-winning musical content, but grungy pop sensation Ke$ha takes offense at naysayers who question her talent as a powerhouse vocalist. (And by naysayers, we mean anyone with full use of their eardrums!)

“I accidentally read a review, and it was really positive, but at the end it said, ‘We don’t really know if she has the best voice.’ Which is bullshit! “ the “Tik-Tok” singer remarks on the pages of the November issue of Seventeen Magazine.

In case you hadn’t heard, Ke$ha is up for (Count ‘em) three prizes at next month’s American Music Awards, including the coveted Artist of the Year trophy.

“That’s the one thing I’m most confident about. I don’t have the best body in the world, but I know for a fact that I have a really good voice. It really bummed me out that somebody didn’t see that, and then I got upset. But it just made me realize that this is an unveiling process; it’s just going to take time. I’m just proving myself to people.”
