In the upcoming “Here Comes the Boom,” Kevin James stars as a biology teacher in a struggling high school that is threatening to can its music department (and the sweet old music teacher played by Henry Winkler) due to budget cutbacks. Rather than stand by helplessly, James decides to get proactive and raise the cash himself. Of course the only way he earn that much money that fast is to become a mixed martial arts prize fighter. The sport of MMA is intense and violent, with only the most elite fighters being able to survive — but surely they’ll go easy on James, right?
