While her older sisters braved a rainy, chilly Tuesday afternoon in Midtown Manhattan for their bi-weekly mani-pedis, Khloe Kardashian-Odom spent the day judging a massive shoe hunt hosted by The Wedding Central Channel, the new Go-To authority on all things new, borrowed, and blue.
Thirty brides-to-be descended on Madison Square Park for the “If the Shoe Fits” Challenge, searching to find eleven pairs of designer shoes among a sea of shoeboxes. Blahniks, Choos, and Louboutins: Oh My! At the end of the competition, the winner received a giant check worth $5,000 — Yep, just like the big ones in the Publishers’ Clearinghouse commercials — and $5,000 worth of wedding consultations (including designer shoes, invitations, and a cake) from Wedding Central’s celebrity wedding experts.
Not a bad way to spend a day in New York City, says Khloe, 26, who celebrated her first wedding anniversary hoopster Lamar Odom in September.
“It was so amazing to see so many beautiful brides in one place!!! I loved it and I was so happy for the winner. She was so excited!!”
