Kites, having Hrithik Roshan and Mexican actress Barbara Mori in lead roles, have registered more than Rs 65 crore up to its first weekend of worldwide release. The much awaited film was released across 200 screens in India and 500 screens overseas on Friday.
According to the distributors, the film is getting good response from the audiences across the world. The film was distributed by Reliance BIG Pictures. The film is based on a love story between a Mexican woman and an Indian man.
Now an international version of the film by the name of Kites-The Remix is to be releases shortly on May 28. the version is edited by Hollywood director Brett Ratner.
