Fans of the annual Labor Day Rehoboth Beach Drag Volley Tournament weren’t letting a little thing like Tropical Storm Earl get in the way of one of the most entertaining sporting events of the summer!
The Labor Day weekend tradition has been one of the Delaware Shore’s biggest attractions since 1988. This year’s tournament — complete with its elaborate costumes, floats, skits, and props — drew thousands of spectators and rallied Lady Gaga impersonators “Girls of the Gaga Galaxy” against the “Trans World Air Atlantic Stewardesses.”
In the end, it was the Stewardesses who took the win, beating Gaga’s dolled-up Little Monsters 17-15.
