The world-famous Madame Tussauds Wax Museum has confirmed a scoop we first brought you in August: Pop sensation Lady Gaga will help host the biggest launch in the museum’s history when the Tussauds wax figure specialists launch eight statues crafted in the likeness of the charttopper next month.
The eight waxworks will go on display at Madame Tussauds locations in London, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Berlin, Amsterdam, Shanghai, and Hong Kong on Dec. 9. Gaga is mmortalized with a series of wax likeness as part of a multi-million dollar international project.
“As one of the biggest and most unique talents in the world, she is the perfect subject for the biggest figure launch in Madame Tussauds’ history. All of the styles being worked on are classic Gaga,” the museum stated this month.
Each likeness will be seen in eight different costumes, including the Marie Antoinette wig and buns the “Poker Face” singer donned at last year’s Brit Awards and the Radio 1 studios respectively. Little Monsters will have to wait, however, to see whether the famous meat dress of Lady GaGa will be a part of any one of her wax figures.
