RJD chief Lalu Prasad who was once a great follower of Baba Ramdev is now criticizing the yoga guru. Lalu says that he has gone ‘senile’ as he has attacked politicians and their political virtues.
Recently Ramdev has announced that he will be starting a political party that can challenge every Indian politician.
Prasad said, “It is not good that Ramdev is criticizing every politician in the country to prove himself good. I have advised him against joining politics. In fact, Ramdevji bauwra Gaye hai (Ramdevji has gone senile).”
But Lalu’s statement against Ramdev was not acceptable by the BJP chief Nitin Gadkari.
Defending the Baba Gadakri said that Lalu has used an inappropriate language that is not warranted for any “veteran spiritual leader” like him.
Gadkari said, “Lalu must have avoided using such a language against Ramdev. His comments on such a respected person are disappointing.”
Lalu said “We once saved him (Ramdev) or else he would have been beaten up.”
Lalu had once strongly supported the Yoga Guru when he was attacked by the CPM leader Brinda Karat who laid the allegation that animal bones are used with the ayurvedic medicine produced by Baba’s institution at Haridwar. Lalu defended him that time by saying that if human bones are mixed with medicines even then it is all right as it can sure people.
But now he also accused Ramdev for claiming to cure cancer. He said, “In this research age, it is nothing but cheating and befooling people.”
