LOGO Honors Rue McClanahan With “Sordid Lives” Marathon June 6

The LOGO Network will honor the career of late Golden Girl Rue McClanahan with a 12-episode marathon air of her final series — Sordid Lives: The Series — this Sunday, June 6 from 8 PM to 2 AM (7 PM to 1 AM Central). McClanahan, who passed away of a stroke early Thursday at the age of 76, played the role of family matriarch Peggy Ingram on the show.

If you’ve have never caught an episode of the now-defunct comedy, Sordid Lives: The Series — inspired by the 1996 play and 2000 film of the same name — starred McClanahan, Beth Grant, Olivia Newton-John, and Caroline Rhea as a dysfunctional, but humorous family, from Winters, Texas.
