Sure, we still have to wait until Monday, March 26 to see the “Make It or Break It” Season 3 premiere, but thanks to some new episode descriptions from ABC Family, we’ve got the scoop on what’s happening in the first six episodes.
In case you missed our post about the season premiere and following two weeks, Payson, Kaylie and Lauren will deal with more drama from Kelly Parker (that troublemaker!), plus added pressure from working at the USA Training Center and the fact that there are only a few weeks to go before the Olympics.
Now, check out the descriptions for episodes 4-6:
Monday, April 16: “Growing Pains”
It’s midway through the qualifying period at the USA Training Center as the girls prepare for a day of family visits. Nervous that she’ll have to play referee to her bickering, divorced parents, Kaylie decides to bring along boyfriend Austin to their family dinner — but starts to regret it when Austin and her dad get along too well. Payson is shocked when her dad delivers some unwelcome news, and Sheila does her best to sell Coach McIntire on Kelly. Meanwhile, Payson pushes Lauren to see a doctor about her condition.
Monday, April 23: “Dream On”
Some dreams come to an end as the girls compete in the semi-qualifications to make the official Olympics team. As the girls inch closer to final team selections‚ they must first pass the semi-qualifications. But that is easier said than done as they each face problems: Kelly must deal with her mom (special guest star Kathy Najimy) being in town and out for Kaylie’s blood‚ Lauren stresses over Payson constantly watching her about her health‚ and there’s a mole in the group‚ trying to sabotage the team. Meanwhile‚ Coach Mac’s mandatory curfew puts a kink in Payson’s love life.
Monday, April 30: “Listen to the Universe”
Lauren is devastated when the doctor tells her that her heart condition requires surgery. In hopes of helping her, Payson tracks down another doctor to convince him to perform an experimental procedure with a quicker recovery period. Meanwhile, Kaylie is forced to room with Jordan.
