Mani Ratnam’s most awaited film ‘Raavan’ will be released in Telugu as well under a title of Villain.
The film is inspired by the great Indian epic Ramayana that is it is modern Ramayana where Rama’s wife Sita gets is abducted by the Raavana. The film features Ash and Abhishek together.
Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer and the music is composed by Oscar award winner AR Rahman.
The movie will release on 18 June 2010 simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
