It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for reportedly-expectant singer Mariah Carey.

The multi-platinum-selling songbird has announced plans to record a holiday album filled with a new set of Yuletide classics just in time for the 2010 holiday season. Mariah is releasing her second album of holiday-themed tunes, Merry Christmas II You, featuring production by Randy Jackson, Jermaine Dupri, and Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin.

The first single dropping from the disc will be a brand new recording of Mariah’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” The new compilation will feature six new songs along with traditional seasonal songs, there are four original songs composed by Mariah, including the new single “Oh Santa.”

Merry Christmas II will have big shoes to fill when it premieres Nov. 2. Carey’s Merry Christmas became one of the best-selling holiday albums of all -time when it hit shelves 16 years ago
