On Monday, political daughter Bristol Palin joined the cast of the 11th season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, joining Jersey Shore castmember Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, songbird Brandy, and singer Michael Bolton on the popular reality show.
And now we know who Bristol will be sharing the floor with: America’s Most Famous Teen Mom will share the floor with Mark Ballas, who helped Olympian Shawn Johnson dance away with the Mirrorball Trophy during DWTS’ ninth season.
The 19-year-old daughter of former GOP VP candidate and ex-Alaska governor Sarah Palin appeared alongside Ballas on Good Morning America today to discuss her upcoming stint on the ABC competition.
“I was excited to jump on board and be a part of something that’s fun… be in a whole new environment,” she explained. “I want people to see this side of me, my work ethic, put my personality into this… I am trying to coordinate myself and get some rhythm. This is going to just be an awesome experience.”
Ballas praised Bristol — who has no previous dancing experience — for “doing very well” with the routines so far.
“She’s a little nervous… we’re going to pull out her dancing demon and get her going.”
Dancing With The Stars Season 11 kicks off with a two-hour premiere on Monday, Sept. 20 at 8 PM on ABC.
