La Toya Jackson, Mark McGrath, and Star Jones will be among the C-List celebs hoping to avoid The Donald’s signature phrase: “You’re Fired” and working to succeed Bret Michaels as television’s next Celebrity Apprentice.
The official cast for the next season of the NBC reality show has not been announced, but snoops tell Entertainment Weekly that the trio will be among the contestants vying for charity dollars when the show goes into production in the Big Apple next week.
Mark, La Toya, and Star are no strangers to the World of Television. In 2007, La Toya appeared on the CBS show Armed and Famous, training with Erik Estrada and Jack Osbourne to become a reserve police officer in Muncie, Indiana. McGrath — former lead singer of the rock band Sugar Ray — once co-hosted the syndicated TV newsmagazine Extra. And Star Jones was a co-host on ABC’s The View before being famously fired in 2006 after nine seasons.
The fourth season of Celebrity Apprentice premieres in March.
