A couple of Cliff Richards fans have seen him perform more than 8,000 times and spent more than 1million pounds on following him.
Brenda Kirby and Carol Barton have kept track of Richards’ world tours for over 50 years, making five world trips themselves in the process.
They have spent 560,000 pounds on tickets, 208,000 pounds on travel and hotels, plus 120,000 pounds on flights.
Also, they have memorabilia amounting to 320,000 pounds.
They spent 8,500 pounds to book tables at charity events just sit close to the singer.
“It was money well spent,” the Mirror quoted Brenda, 60, a retired bank worker, as saying.
Ex-nurse Barton , 61, added: “I can”t stay away from him. It’’s his voice that I like the most and it just keeps getting better as he gets older.”
