Michael Bay and James Cameron on the 3D in Transformers

This past Wednesday, Paramount Pictures was host to a special event that brought together two bigger than life filmmaking talents on one stage. Michael Bay joined James Cameron to discuss the future of 3D technology and how it plays out in Transformers: Dark of the Moon .

Cameron, of course, has been Hollywood’s biggest proponent of the technology, and is in many ways responsible for the state of the art stereoscopic boom that has hit the industry. Though Bay shot the upcoming Transformers film in 3D, he wasn’t always enamored of the format and, together, he and Cameron discuss the pros and cons of going 3D.

Watch the highlight video in the player below and check back soon, as we hope to have the full video of the event online in the very near future.
