With the good news that the tumor on Michael Douglas’ throat is gone, the Oscar winner and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones were in celebratory mode after the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. The couple was all smiles at the star-studded Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company soirée.

And Michael reportedly has another reason to smile. British tabloids are atwitter with whispers that the Wall Street actor is in talk with publishers about possibly penning his memoirs. Douglas is being courted to lift the lid on his career, battle against alcoholism, and the cancer fight in an explosive new book, London’s Daily Mail dished over the weekend.

“If Michael agrees to write about his past and his marriages as well as his battle with cancer, it will be a bestseller without a doubt,” says a source.
