Despite the fact that the first models that will be based on Windows Phone 7 will appear in the market by the end of this year, Microsoft began to showcase several devices that will use its next smartphone operating system.
The company made a brief glimpse of three upcoming models. The first one is the handset developed by Asus which is considered to be a smartphone. It has a tablet shape and comes with a minimalistic design. It boasts of two cameras.
The second Windows Phone 7 model is created by LG. It is equipped with a sliding landscape oriented keyboard, the handset is thicker compared to an iPhone. It is expected that the device will have a trackpad that will be located below its touchscreen, moreover, it will be enabled with a front-facing camera.
As for the third device, it is produced by Samsung, it is available in tablet shape and has chrome buttons. The name of the handset is the Samsung Omnia 3.
All smartphones that run Windows Phone 7 will be on sale near the end of this year. Microsoft promised that all the models would be available in the market in time during the holiday shopping rush.
