Furthermore, the name of the newly created YouTube account is MortalKombatRebirth, which sounds like a perfectly suitable title for a new entry in the series. If this is for a new movie, it might be ok, but it’s disappointing they got rid of 99% of the game’s lore for it. I love Jeri Ryan, but I’m not sure how she’d do as Sonja either. It might have been a better movie if they hadn’t tried to tack the Mortal Kombat name on it.

U knwo this looks really good for just a promo, im sure when they start the real deal they will work harder. But this movie would suck with out a sindel, kitana meelina or jade. like really the female ones are the best. Specially sindel they can really use some coo effects with her cause she has bad ass effects like screaming. But yea they need 2 hurry up cause 2013 is a long time to wait to much so warner bros do this movie now and stf! lol

In the first movie Subzero died with a bucket of water, in the second movie they met “subzero” who said he was the brother of subzero of the first movie, but his name was subzero too. So who’s this guy then? The subzero from the first movie or the subzero from the second movie? How many subzero are there??

@johnnydacosta i’m sorry i didn’t realize that the internet was a grammar class you were a certified english teacher and a violence love. it’s people like you that made avatar so popular. because it had so much violence and bad story. i’m sorry that i as an avid fan of story telling. which by the likes of you and anyone like you is a lost art in cinema now-a-days. I’m sorry that im not in the prehistoric mind set like you in which someone see’s a movie based on pure violence only

If they want to make a new mortal kombat movie. fine. great. ide go see it. but this…this isnt mortal kombat. this is a bunch of guys with “codenames” based on Mortal Kombat characters.

i don’t mind the fact they’ve made it more realistic. It’ll be better than those previous two films. They might have been good for their day but now, i can barely watch them. Can’t wait for the new game either, played them all bar versus DC…just didn’t look right.
