Avengers: Infinity War: Directors Anthony and Joe Russo shared a photo with the simple caption: “Scouting,” leading to immediate speculation that Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will be making an appearance in the superhero teamup, since a somewhat similar staircase appears in the smash hit bearing his name. That’s strictly a rumor at this point; Avengers: Infinity War is due in theaters on May 4, 2018. [Instagram]

Fifty Shades Darker

Fifty Shades Darker: Early word on Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to sexy smash Fifty Shades of Grey, emphasized the thriller elements of the material, a thought reinforced by the selection of veteran James Foley (Fear) as director. But any who are concerned that the movie might dial down the steamier side of things should be reassured by the reasons for the newly-issued R rating: “Strong erotic sexual content, some graphic nudity, and language.” Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan star; the movie will open in theaters on February 10, 2017.
