Father of the Bride II

Father of the Bride 3: A third installment in the modern Father of the Bride series is under development. Reportedly, the premise for the third film is that his son is gay and preparing to marry, but George “has problems with the whole gay thing” and so gets kicked out of the house by his wife. Writer/director Charles Shyer, who worked on the first two films, is on board to write the screenplay. [Nikki Finke]

The Grand Budapest Hotel: A delightful comic adventure, Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel is heading to home video tomorrow, and to mark the occasion nine die-hard fans (and model builders) spent more than 575 hours designing and replicating the hotel, entirely in Lego bricks. More than 50,000 certified bricks were located in Europe and the United States. [Fox Searchlight]
