War crimes prosecutors want to subpoena supermodel Naomi Campbell to testify over a so-called blood diamond she allegedly received from former Liberian president Charles Taylor while the pair where guests in the home of former South African president Nelson Mandela in 1997.

A prosecution motion filed with the Special Court for Sierra Leone Thursday reads: “Ms Campbell’s testimony is necessary as there is evidence that Ms Campbell was given rough diamonds by the accused (Taylor) in September 1997.”

Actress Mia Farrow has already told UN officials that Naomi blabbed to her about receiving large, uncut diamonds from Taylor.
