Neil Patrick Harris is a dad! The Emmy winner — who plays Barney on the TV comedy How I Met Your Mother — and his partner of six years, chef David Burtka, are now the proud parents of fraternal twins, delivered via surrogate on Oct. 12.
NPH hit his Twitter page Friday to introduce the new guy and gal in his life, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace.
“Babies!! On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey,” the new dad wrote.
Harris became a household name at age 16 when he portrayed a teenage physician on the TV series Doogie Howser, M.D. He came out as a gay man in 2006.
