Groundbreaking classic rock band Blondie will release its first album since frontwoman Debbie Harry announced the band’s split in 2006.

Four years later, said “split” has yet to materialize, prompting the group to ditch the idea altogether. So in 2011, Blondie will unveil Panic of Girls, the group’s first set of new material since The Curse of Blondie in 2003.

Drummer Clem Burke told Billboard.com he expects the album to premiere in Australia in time for Blondie’s tour there in December with The Pretenders.
