By now you’ve probably noticed that the Moviefone homepage has a fresh new look. (If you came in through the side door and haven’t yet seen it, by all means click over and have a look around.) So … what do you think? Granted, it can’t quite compare to the sight of the Imperial Starfleet traversing the galaxy — or Michelle Pfeiffer descending Robert Loggia’s staircase in Scarface, for that matter — but we’re pretty happy with it all the same.

Right at the top of the new homepage, you’ll find poster-shaped links to the hottest new movies — both coming soon and in theaters — and below that links to Moviefone’s world-class content: lead stories appear in the rotating carousel at the top, followed by articles on the topics people are talking about right now. The latest news headlines run down the left side of the page, and just to the right are video links to new trailers. On the far-right rail, below the ad, there is a list of links to movie review pages (you can see the critic scores right there — bad November, Hollywood!) and, under that, a collection of irresistible photo galleries.

Also debuting today: an updated site header, which you can see at the top of this page, with improved search functionality — you can find showtimes by browsing the movie and theater menus, or by typing terms directly into the search bar — and a cleaner set of navigation options. There’s also a Facebook feed so you can see what social networkers, including your friends, are sharing.

These changes represent a small but significant milestone in our long-term quest to make Moviefone nothing less than the best damn site on the Internet for movie lovers and the people who love them. (OK, we’ll settle for just the movie lovers; it can be our little thing.) We want to improve every part of your experience — from finding movies and showtimes to consuming news, to sharing, commenting, arguing, and otherwise engaging with a like-minded community of fellow movie fanatics. But to really accomplish that goal, we need to hear from you! So if you see something that needs work, have an idea of how we could improve, or just want to shout out a feature that you actually like (we can dream, right?), please take a moment to share your feedback.

OK, intermission over. Time to dim the lights and get back to the fun stuff. Thanks for visiting!
