Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 is coming soon, it will be held in less than a week. We will be disclosed with more details about new PlayStation 3 models. According to Engadget two new models were tested for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chips with various hard drive configurations. So it seems like we will be provided with an opportunity to see new models of PlayStation 3 that are going to be announced at E3 or probably they will be showcased in the Fall when PlayStation Move is available.
Lately it was reported that the PlayStation 3 Slim would come with 40nm RSX GPU chip. But despite that no refresh was noticed at FCC test labs. As a result, CECH-2501B and CECH-2501A models got certifications for Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) as well as Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. Actually, the models are available with different hard drive configurations.
Also two debug models DECH-2500B and DECH-2500A were found in the list. The debug units will be equipped with new hardware.
But still we will have to wait for an official announcement of Sony.
