‘Material Girls’ star Hillary Duff is not going to have children any time soon.

When asked on a radio show, if she and husband Mike Comrie are talking parenthood, Duff replied, “We’re not. We”re not thinking about it at all.”

However, she added, that doesn”t rule out the possibility of children down the road.

“We”re excited to have kids. But we don”t want to do it now. We”ve been married for six weeks. We haven”t sent thank-you notes out yet. Can we get that out of the way before?” People Magazine quoted her as saying.

Duff and Canadian hockey player Comrie, 29, married in Santa Barbara, California, in August.

The singer, who started her career as a child star working with Disney, also spoke about the challenges today”s young stars face.

“It”s hard. I would never just march up to Miley Cyrus and say, ”I got some stuff to share with you.” I think they”re doing a good job,” ‘The Perfect Man’ star concluded.
