Now since the Internet service are available to various new age devices like iPhones and iPads, it has compelled the companies to develop and provide anti-virus for these devices also.
In keeping with the new demands coming from the new devices users, Symantec has released a three-part initiated in the form of its anti-virus Norton Everywhere for the consumers. This makes it possible to take the anti-virus beyond the PC. This initiative will help in keeping the mobile phones more secured and web safety can be ensured in every other such device.
The anti-virus will be made available directly to the consumers and also through new business-to-business offerings. The company also plans to launch Norton Smartphone Security for Android Beta, Norton Connect Beta and Norton DNS Beta.
