Trial on mice has shown that a vaccine to prevent breast cancer is a possibility. American scientists have successfully experimented that the vaccine can save mice from developing breast cancer in them.

Now they plan to conduct trials on human also. However, it may take many years before any such vaccine is available for its human use. The immunologists who conducted the trial has said that the vaccine aims protein found in most breast tumors.

The scientists believe that someday the vaccine is going to be used for preventing of breast cancer in adult women just as other vaccines do so in childhood diseases.
