A representative for Penelope Cruz has dismissed reports that the Spanish actress is pregnant with her first child from husband Javier Bardem.
The rumours began on July 13 after it was revealed that Cruz, 36, and her ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ co-star, Bardem, 41, had married in a small secret ceremony earlier this month after three years of dating.
The reports also claimed that the actress would give birth early next year.
But according to E!Online, a spokesperson for Cruz has denied that the actress, who is currently shooting the upcoming action blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”, is pregnant.
“It’s not exactly the kind of movie you want to be doing if you’re pregnant,” the Daily Express quoted the spokesperson as saying.
