The odd Philip Treacy-designed hat Princess Beatrice wore at last month’s royal wedding sold for about $130,000 (GBP 81,000) in an eBay auction this weekend.

The proceeds for the famous headpiece will be forwarded to UNICEF UK and Children in Crisis. An anonymous buyer edged four other bidders for the privilege of calling the royal memento his own.

As previously reported, Prince William and Kate Middleton wed April 29 at Westminster Abbey, as an estimated worldwide audience of 2 billion people watched.
