It’s The Real Housewives like you’ve never seen them before — in drag!

(Although we can’t be entirely sure that Kim Zolciak didn’t attend the RuPaul School of Tucking…)

The Bravo Network is rolling out the red carpet on the sandy shores of The Sunshine State to bring its Real Housewives franchise to Miami.

On Tuesday, a Housewives production source in-the-know spilled the beans to E! News that filming recently wrapped on the first season of The Real Housewives of Miami.

Long regarded as the steamy American city where the beautiful people go to party, South Beach, is on course to join Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, Central New Jersey, Washington, DC, and Beverly Hills as the latest US mecca to provide a backdrop for the smash reality docu-series.

However, the newest incarnation of the Housewives series will have an interesting twist. One of the featured “Housewives” isn’t really a “Wife” at all. Elaine Lancaster, drag queen extraordinaire of South Beach known in male form as James Davis, is featured on the program. Joining Elaine as a Miami Housewife will be Larsa Pippen, wife of retired Chicago Bulls ace Scottie Pippen, and Christy Rice, former wife of ex-Miami Heat star Glen Rice. Adriana Sidi, Alexia Echeverria, Marysol Patton, and Lea Black are among the other ladies who’ll be getting in on the fun.

An airdate has not yet been announced, but ah — we can already hear the mayhem.
