The clean-cut former child star (Take notes, Lindsay!) is in negotiations with Hollywood bosses at Marvel Studios to reprise her role as the super-sexy Black Widow for a solo superhero outing on the big screen.
Scarlett first slipped into the Widow costume in the summer blockbuster Iron Man 2 and will reprise her role for the eagerly-anticipated 2012 action-flick The Avengers, an ensemble picture featuring a star-studded cast including Robert Downey, Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, and Mark Ruffalo.
“We’ve already started discussions with Scarlett about the idea of a solo movie and have begun putting together concepts, but ‘The Avengers’ comes first,” Kevin Feige, of Marvel Studios, told reporters during a press conference last week.
