Atta Girl! A five-year-old Scottish Deerhound named Foxcliffe Hickory Wind (Please address her as such…) won the Best in Show title at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City on Tuesday night. The show, one of the most prestigious dog shows in the world, kicked off at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 14, as over 2,000 canines — including six new breeds to the competition — competed for the title of Top Dog.
Hickory is the first Scottish Deerhound to win the competition since the breed made its debut in the first Westminster Dog Show way back in 1877!
