The much-talked about “Seinfeld” reunion has finally been revealed.

During the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show on Sunday (Feb. 2), the world finally learned what brought Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander back to the legendary Tom’s Restaurant in NYC (aka Monk’s cafe) by way of a preview for a special post-Super Bowl episode of Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” web series.

Turns out Seinfeld’s claims that the project wasn’t filmed for the Super Bowl or an episode of the webseries, but that it was not not those things, was a way of saying exactly what the project was without saying it.

In the episode, Seinfeld picks up his best pal George Costanza, where they partake in some famous “Seinfeld” banter (written by Larry David) and have a run-in with a crazed Newman (Wayne Knight).
