Serena Williams is a tennis authority, but with two clothing lines to her name, she’s a fashion pro, too. So before her next big match, the sports champ has taken a break to share her summer style favorites on celebrity-curated shopping site OpenSky.

For footwear, Williams prefers wedges, like the Qupid braided “Jute” platform (top left, $ 36). “There’s nothing more feminine than showing off a perfect pedicure in a killer pair,” she says. With this particular shoe, “I love the natural braided detail,” she shares.

A Pure & Simple maxi dress (bottom left, $ 94) is a must for the star. “This one is great because it’s simple and sexy and allows you to play around with accessories,” she explains. “I’d probably wear this with a bold necklace, a great bag and either a platform heel or a fun pair of flats.”

The Aryn K color-blocked dress (top right, $ 125) is another top choice thanks to its ease. “It has become my new suitcase stowaway,” she says. “It cinches the smallest part of the waist so it’s completely flattering.”

And to round out her wardrobe, Williams suggests the Bronx black/metallic flat sandal with back zip (bottom right, $ 79). “They’re so comfy, but also look really sleek,” she promises.
