Skyfall ‘s Mendes and Logan Teaming for TV Vampire Hunter Drama?

Deadline is reporting that Skyfall director Sam Mendes and screenwriter John Logan are teaming up again for a TV vampire hunter drama.
The site says that the project “is described as an origin story set in the 1800s London in the vein of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (pictured left), which also was set in 19th century Europe, including London, and featured an assortment of fictional literary characters. The Logan/Mendes project features such characters as Van Helsing and Doctor Frankenstein as they hunt for vampires.”

If the pilot moves forward, Logan would write the script with Mendes attached to produce and possibly direct. The show has reportedly been sent the to premium cable networks.
