The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield made a surprise appearance during the opening of “Saturday Night Live” last night. The show, hosted by the movie’s Gwen Stacy, Emma Stone, started with Andy Samberg dropping down dressed as Spidey and wanting to play the character in the new film. He made jokes about who would play the role before Stone called up Garfield himself. You can watch the segment below!
Opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on July 3, the Marc Webb-directed film also stars Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field.
