Nothing makes hump day go smoother than some superhero news – and today we’ve got all kinds of updates on things like The Sinister Six movie, Batman v. Superman, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more.
We kick things off with the oft discussed Venom movie. One of Spider-Man’s greatest foes is about to get his own film, and now it has a new name. Previously known simply as Venom, the new title is Venom Carnage – which hints at the possibility of not only seeing Eddie Brock, but also Cletus Kasady’s Carnage character as well. This should make fans giddy – almost as giddy as a potential release date in 2017.
It also appears that the Sinister Six have found their leader. According to the current buzz, Doctor Octopus will lead the team of super-baddies when the film hits screens in November of 2016. [via JoBlo]
Go inside The Milano in MTV Cribs’ style
Actor Chris Pratt gives fans a guided tour of his awesome spaceship The Milano in this behind the scenes video from Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s pretty impressive once you realize most of the stuff actually moves and works and wasn’t added during post-production.
Batman v. Superman rumors galore
DC has to be thrilled with the level of hype surrounding Batman v. Superman – we’re still almost two years away from the film’s May 2016 release and its in the news almost every day. Today, we’ve got some new rumors about how Batman and Wonder Woman fit into Superman’s universe.
The basic gist is that both have been fighting crime long before the film, with Batman doing it from the shadows so effectively that people think he’s an urban legend. There’s an even bigger potential bombshell to the current speculation, but you’ll have to head over to Badass Digest for that.
If that’s not enough for you, here’s more gossip about Aquaman being in the movie.
