In this week’s revelatory “Supernatural” episode, Sam and Dean Winchester learned that they are legacies, born with a connection to the “Men of Letters,” a secret organization that keeps meticulous record of the supernatural world.
As they discovered in the episode, they have the key to a secret hide-out bunker which will now serve as a standing home for the Winchesters, who tend to be very transient.
“It’s a really stunning set. It’s full of mysteries,” says executive producer Bob Singer. “After eight years of never having a home
base, this will be home base for quite some time.” Since the Men of Letters died out half a century ago, the Winchesters will have the run of the place. We can expect to see Sam get his geek on when he finds all of the records… and Dean will have his own room for the first time since he was four years old, so naturally, he’ll have fun plastering it with posters since he missed out on that in his teenage years. Any guesses on the ratio of AC/DC to Zeppelin?
