The SXSW festival in Austin has certainly expanded over the past several years, but no one could have predicted that one of the most popular panels would be hosted by crab fishermen from Alaska. But of course, the stars of Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch aren’t just any Alaskan crab fishermen. Shira Lazar of What’s Trending sat down with the crew to talk about the challenges of social media on the job, their fans, and whether blogging and tweeting is as hard work as being out on the open sea.
