Director Tom Holland (Fright Night, Child’s Play) is venturing into Stephen King territory once again with a feature film adaptation of The Ten O’Clock People.
Holland and King have previously collaborated on the popular thrillers The Langoliers and Thinner.
After an extended hiatus, Holland returned to directing in 2007 as a featured director in the acclaimed “Masters of Horror” series for Showtime. Currently

Michael Koryta’s The Prophet won’t hit bookshelves until August, but producer Nick Wechsler (The Road) has already purchased the film rights and hired Magic Mike screenwriter Reid Carolin to adapt the novel. On his official site, Koryta describes the upcoming tale as follows:
Paramount Pictures has hired David Leslie Johnson to write the script for Last Man Standing, an adaptation of Daniel LuVisi’s graphic novel “Last Man Standing: Killbook of a Bounty Hunter” (LMS), reports Variety. Johnson’s credits include Orphan, Red Riding Hood, an episode of “The Walking Dead” and Wrath of the Titans.
Tom Hanks and his producing partner Gary Goetzman have plans to adapt Erik Larson’s non-fiction novel In the Garden of the Beasts for the screen. The Hollywood Reporter has word that Universal has secured the rights to the book, which the author describes as follows on his official site:
